DEMAND CONFIDENCE

REPEATED ACROSS 4 PROJECTS

Related friction appears in 4 independent repositories. This is stronger than one backlog item, but still requires direct user validation.

Project strength and demand confidence are measured separately.
SOURCE EVIDENCE

Start with what users actually said

Reporter context: Problem ZeroClaw has two filesystem-policy layers that have historically drifted: application-layer path admission in tools and ; operating-system sandbox backends such as Bubblewrap, Landlock, and Seatbelt. Agent risk profiles already express workspace and path restrictions, but OS backends largely enforce…Excerpted from the public Issue. Read the complete thread before interpreting it.

AGENT INFRASTRUCTURE VALIDATION LENS

Recruit: Recruit teams with live traces, tool calls or deployment constraints from a real agent workflow.

Guardrail: Test observable state transitions, permission boundaries and recovery from partial failure.

01 · Setup & configuration

Write the problem hypothesis

For [developer], completing [setup or development task] is unclear at [step], causing [abandonment or rework].

You can name one user, one situation and one measurable consequence without proposing a feature.
02 · EVIDENCE INTERVIEW

Interview five agent-platform engineers or technical operators

  • Screen-share the task without guidance.
  • Where do you first hesitate?
  • What did you search for?
  • Which error or concept is unclear?
  • What workaround finally unblocked you?
At least three people independently describe the same painful workflow with recent examples.
03 · MINIMUM TEST

Run the smallest experiment

Create the smallest example, diagnostic or setup assistant and observe three developers using it unprompted.

Three developers finish the task with fewer interventions or measurably less time.Test observable state transitions, permission boundaries and recovery from partial failure.
04 · DECISION GATE

Make a build decision

  • Build: repeated pain and active commitment
  • Narrow: pain is real but the audience or job differs
  • Stop: weak frequency or no behavioral proof
Do not let GitHub engagement replace direct validation.

Why this brief exists

Information has value only when it changes action. This page turns one public signal into a bounded validation exercise. It is a research aid, not proof of demand, investment advice or a product recommendation.
